Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) for inadmissible persons is a special document that permits a person who might be barred from entering and dwelling in a certain country for a certain period of time to do so. This permit is issued to anyone who may be considered ineligible to enter any country for such reasons as having been convicted of a crime or having violated immigration laws in the past or having a medical condition that makes him/her undesirable.

Temporary Authorization

CRPs are granted to people who are inadmissible because of criminal records, prior immigrations offenses or medical inadmissibility. Limited Duration
Most of the time, the TRP is valid for a specific period namely, limited time period stay; which may vary depending on his/her circumstances or the purpose of stay. It is not a link to a permanent residence.

Reevaluation
After that time the individual may have to apply anew or renew the permit depending on the situation. At times the applicants can appeal to remain in the country or to apply for a permanent residence if their circumstances change.
