Super Visa For Canada

Connection with a Canadian Citizen, Resident
The applicant must be the parent or grandarent of Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada. The co-relationship has to be proven, therefore, producing birth certificates or any other legal documents to support such a relationship.

An Invitation from A Canadian Child or Grandchild
Only an applicant that received an invitation from his or her child or grandchild who is a citizen of Canada or a permanent resident of Canada is allowed. The Canadian child or grandchild must provide a Letter of Invitation that includes:
An invitation to come and see Canada as well as to invest in the country.
Other attributes such as duration of the invitation or relationship being sexual or platted along the visit.
An evidence that the sponsor is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, for instance, phone or email proved by photocopy of the Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
Documentary proof that the applicant has clean criminal record, that the applicant is capable of supporting their self financially during the duration of their stay in the country (proof of income: tax returns, notice of assessment, etc).

Financial Support
The applicant, who is a child or grandchild of a Canadian citizen, must meet the minimum necessary income to support himself or herself during the stay in Canada.

The applicant shall have to take a medical test in order to be certified to be health wise fit to be in Canada without causing health discomfort to the Canadian people.
The medical exam is normally given by an approved panel physician. Candidates also need to present the required private medical insurance issued by a company in Canada, which covers the emergency medical transportation for not less than one hundred thousand dollars and remain effective for at least one year starting from the date of entry.

Proof of Ties to Home Country
Candidates must be able to convince the authorities on why they wish to leave the Country at the end of the period for which they are allowed to be in Canada. To prove that they are likely to go back after their stay, they may be required to present the relation in form of family, property or employment in their home country.

Travel and Immigration History
The applicant should have passport or any other valid travel document. The applicant should not have any immigration history or criminal record. The police clearance certificate is emailed or certified depending on the country of the applicant. The following makes an applicant ineligible: prior violation of immigration laws such as overstaying in the United States with a visa.

Age Requirement
The applicant should be 18 years and above. There is no age restriction with regard to the Super Visa, though applicants of a certain age may be required to take further medical tests.

Previous Visits to Canada
While not necessarily mandatory, candidates that have held a typical visitor’s visa permit for Canada in the past might find it easier to make heads of prior violation of Canadian immigration laws. However, the application may be prejudiced by previous immigration violation if any.
